This blog came into being on July 28, 2009, the one month anniversary of the illegal coup against the President Manuel Zelaya and the people of Honduras.
The blog covers actions by the illegal coup government, the Honduran Resistance and efforts by President Zelaya to return to Honduras and be reinstated as President. In addition, special emphasis will be given to human rights abuses suffered by Hondurans at the hands of the Honduran military, police, paramilitaries and death squads.
The blog will provide news, analysis, opinion, photos, videos and important alerts straight from the Honduran Resistance in the streets.
I invite you to comment on individual blog posts and, if you wish to contact me directly, you may do so at hcva(at)hcvanalysis(dot)net
Picture that was previously at the top of this blog:
It was a picture of the father of Isis Obed Murillo Sanchez who was shot in the head at the airport in Tegucigalpa on July 5. The two hooded police officers with Mr. Murillo, father of 11 children, arrested him because he was getting close to the truth that his son’s death was a targeted assassination by the Honduran military. Murillo was picked up on an old warrant regarding a situation that had been resolved. Mr. Murillo remains in jail in Olancho.
